i dont think being chummy with the prez is gonna help. an incumbent polling with his #s is running scared. has to be.

I'll be watching to see how Matesz does.
From some quarters I hear that some single issue voters are crossing lines to vote for Strickland, while others can't stomach that but really dislike Kasich. They say they're voting instead for Matesz.

Strickland has blamed Cleveland and northeast Ohio for his loss to Kasich. Here's the Plain Dealer's reply:
