The Columbus Blues Alliance's Traditional Acoustic Blues Festival returns on February 28, 2009! The 14th annual festival features two stages, a silent auction, blues photo display and sale, 50-50 cash drawing and an open-to-the-public blues jam.
This year's headlining act is Guy Davis (son of Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee) and Ann Rabson (founder of Saffire - the Uppity Blues Women), Also appearing are Eden Brent (2006 International Blues Challenge winner), Samuel James and Lionel Young (2008 IBC winner). There will be a total of 9 acts on two stages, followed by the jam in the hotel bar!
Doors open at 3:00. Music starts at 4:00. Tickets are $20 for CBA members, $25 for nonmembers and $10 for everyone 16 and under. The location is the Holiday Inn Worthington (7007 N High St.).
