I am filing my taxes early this year and am trying to figure out if I can re-coup some/all of the money I paid in last year to Columbus city tax. I have form IR-22 "City Income Tax Return For Individuals".
Anyone have any guidance on this? I don't recall getting money back last year from the City, but then again, I don't think I filed either. even though I paid.

i would think that unless your employer screwed up or you're under 18, you're not getting city tax back.

You planning to give back your use of city roads, traffic lights, police/fire protection, parks, etc?
If you do that then, yeah, you should be able to get a refund. Look on the web site, I bet there's a form for that.
