Not a lot to look at?! An image of a parking lot being torn up to begin construction of a high-density building is like looking at Picasso for me.

    Woohoo!

Ha! Well, in the grand scheme of things I think a small pile of broken asphalt is nothing compared to what the final buildings should look like. ;)

Imagine Long St. on a road diet with bike lanes and lined with residential, retail and some outdoor seating from High St to CCAD. This could be the first step.

I’ve walked by this place a couple of times since they started tearing up the parking lot.

They are working on Saturday mornings!

I wonder if they’re working overtime to get this project done fast.

Photo update: https://twitter.com/myurbanhood/status/266993571549306880/photo/1 …… Are they going to have underground parking? Looks like they might.

From the first post in this thread:

Conceptual review for the new construction for two five story buildings, each building with 130 units and approximately 82 underground parking spaces. There will also be two nearby off street parking lots.
