Joe Kovach, Coordinator of the OSU Integrated Pest Management Program , will discuss the design and management of an urban fruit and vegetable polyculture system that is economically viable and environmentally sound, and will also discuss his recent trip to Cuba, where organic urban agriculture is practiced out of necessity.
This program is one of a series on local food and agriculture co-sponsored by the Social Responsibility Initiative of the OSU College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and the Greater Columbus Foodshed Project of Simply Living.
