From what the article says, I don't know if your headline is totally accurate. 100,000 die from diseases associated with second-hand smoke. I'm sure at least a handful of those cases could be from other acitivies associated with the same diseases. China is full of industrial pollution, coal mines, dirty power plants, and with their densely populated cities filling with more automobiles every day, it wouldn't be surprise me if at least two or three of those 100,000 deaths could be from diseases also associated with this:

Anyhoo, not trying to discount the fact that prolonged exposure to second-hand smoke can lead to health problems or death, but seriously... if your tinfoil hat grows any bigger it'll cover your eyes completely and make these news stories totally impossible to read.
