Today is a hot one considering it’s already September, so if you are already planning on heading to Gallery Hop, be sure to take a bottle of water, stay extra hydrated, take plenty of rest breaks, and don’t forget to check out all five of our recommendations below for this month’s event.
1. Shopping – The New Tigertree

Short North retail darling Tigertree just finished their move next door into the former Collier West space at 787 North High Street this week. They’re likely to be bustling this weekend, but if you can’t wait to check them out you should definitely make it a point to swing by. (Photo by Ely Brothers Photography)
2. Art – Marcia Evans Gallery

The Marcia Evans Gallery is continuing the run of their “End of Summer” show through September 25th, which features artists Trevor Boyle and Michael Halliday.
3. Food – Barrel 44

Barrel 44 is more well known for their whiskey selection, but they make some pretty awesome food as well. Swing by and hit up their small plates menu for the crab cakes, scallops and tuna crostini and make it a seafood night.
4. Drinks – Camelot Cellars

We’ve actually got an official Columbus Underground Happy Hour coming up at Camelot Cellars on the 15th, but don’t let that stop you from stopping in for a preview night tonight. This urban boutique winery offers tastings if you’re hopping, and bottles for sale if you want to take something home to enjoy later.
5. Entertainment – Get Right

Monthly dance party Get Right takes place tonight at Skully’s Music Diner. As always, it promises to be a hot sweaty mess, and probably even more so with temperatures nearing 100 degrees today.
What else are you looking forward to at Gallery Hop tonight?

That QR Code art show looked cool.
