The downtown lunch scene is more vibrant than ever. With choices that range from straigtforward American cuisine, to ethnic offerings from multiple continents, it’s easier now more than ever to have a great meal in the middle of the day.
For the sandwich lovers, The Carvery, which opened on Monday, August 18th, will become a must-eat-at several times a week. The shop, located at 51 East Gay Street, serves freshly roasted and carved-to-order meats on fresh-baked breads.
Guests can choose from turkey, meatball, vegetable, and porchetta sandwiches, among others, as well as a selection of sides, including roasted potatoes, and dessert, including sugar cookies. All sandwiches cost $8, with sides ranging from $2-$3.
The Carvery, which seats about 44 diners at a time, is open Monday-Saturday, 11am – 4pm. For a longer look at their menu, visit www.carverycolumbus.com.
