Little Rock Bar opened a year ago at 944 North Fourth Street. This no-frills bar instantly became the spot to go for a relaxed happy hour and live music almost every week.
The only thing that Little Rock didn’t offer was food. The 2,000 square feet bar has always had a small kitchen in the back, and it has always been owner Quinn Fallon’s plan to eventually serve food.
Jailhouse Rock is the collaborative effort between Fallon and Zach James of popular food truck, Paddy Wagon. Customers walk up to a window at the back of the bar to order grass-fed, all natural gourmet hot dogs, or one of Paddy Wagon’s signature sandwiches.
The kitchen may be small, but the flavors are huge, and with a cost of about $4 per item, Jailhouse Rock is an affordable addition to what has become Italian Village’s favorite watering hole.
Jailhouse Rock is open Tuesday-Thursday, 5pm – midnight, and Friday-Saturday, 5pm – 2am. For a complete look at the menu, check out www.facebook.com/pages/Jailhouse-ROCK.
