We announced this past April that popular Venezuelan restaurant, El Arepazo, would be expanding to include a third venue in the city at 515 South High Street. Just four and half short months later, Arepazo Latin Grill is open for business.
With seating enough for 145 guests, Arepazo Latin Grill is the ideal spot for lunch, dinner, and happy hours. The over 5,700 square feet space is divided into a bar area, a grocery/café with carry out counter, private dining room for 20, and 2 open dining areas.
There’s also a huge patio off the bar set off by floor-to-ceiling windows that can seat about 28 guests, but hold roughly 50. Couple that with the pool table and 4 televisions scattered throughout the joint, and this Arepazo Grill looks nothing like its flagship only blocks away.
What does remain the same, though, is the absolutely delicious food that all of Arepazo’s kitchens produce. Diners will still be able to enjoy the tacos, burritos, and empanadas that put Arepazo on Columbus’ culinary map, in addition to some new dishes.
Arepazo Grill still serves their large plates, like Lomo Saltado, but have added a new line of ceviches, including a bright and creamy Salmon Avocado, that’s available any time of the day. There are also daily specials, like Chimichurri Steak, available to eat-in or carry-out.
Arepazo Latin Grill is open Monday-Saturday, 11am – 11pm. Stop by the next time you want a cold Margarita, a carafe of some of the city’s best Sangria, or to simply grab a Modelo or 2 and watch the game.
