Columbus! Please join in on the fun as the Salami Monger from North Country Charcuterie team up with the dynamic-plant duo of Planthropy for a unique evening of plants and meats.
This double-workshop will take you through the tasty steps on how to curate your own Charcuterie board from the masters at North Country Charcuterie. Complimenting your charcuterie board will be a session on how to make a beautifully bodacious succulent centerpiece led by Planthropy.
During the first portion of the evening, the Salami Mongers will teach guests about the curing process, proper food and drink pairings, and insider tips and tricks on assembling your professional-grade, Instagram-worthy Charcuterie Board.
Each guest or pair will be provided with an assortment of North Country Charcuterie’s signature salamis and chorizo along with several accoutrements to arrange on your handcrafted, branded, 10” x 6”, reclaimed barn-wood charcuterie board by Re:Work Furnishings. We’re even going to throw in a special, limited-edition cured meat that will be revealed at the workshop!
During the second portion of the evening, guests will learn all about the world of succulents! From how to care for these fun desert plants, the propagation process and the steps needed to create your own eye-popping succulent centerpiece. These desert plants make for the perfect focal-point with their fun colors, textures, and varied shapes and sizes. We will guide you through the steps as you build an amazing centerpiece with gorgeous hand-selected succulents. Guests will receive a custom wood centerpiece, activated charcoal, soil, moss, rock toppers and a large assortment of the perfect succulents.
Your dinner parties will never be the same after this evening of cured meat and planting fun!
Guests are encouraged to responsibly BYOB. HINT: Any of the below are great recommendations for pairing with the cured meats.
