Sticky Fingers Food Festival to Feature 15 Food Trucks & Live Music on July 9

On Saturday, July 9, The Food Fort will once again partner with Columbus classic rock radio station Qfm96 and Promowest Productions to host their third annual food truck fest. Responding to the successful growth of last year’s event, Qfm96 plans to enhance this year’s Sticky Fingers Food Festival by moving the fest to EXPRESS LIVE!, located in downtown Columbus.

“We are excited to present an iconic event that will once again elevate the quality of this festival from previous years to deliver an awesome experience for our loyal listeners,” Qfm96 Marketing Director Michelle Hurley said. “We’ve established such a close relationship with the team at EXPRESS LIVE! that when it came time to find a new venue that could ecdifoodfest2support the growing attendance we’ve witnessed in previous years, hosting it there seemed like a natural fit.”

With a music lineup featuring local favorites Jackass Genius, Scotty Bratcher, Willie Phoenix, McGuffey Lane, and nationally-renowned headliners 38 Special, Qfm96 has upped the ante, securing talent that has cemented their footing in classic rock lore.

The Food Fort, powered by ECDI, will have their talent on full display as well, bringing 15 local food trucks and carts into the mix, including past festival favorites Kenny’s Meat Wagon, Loops Food Truck, Pitabilities, and many more.

“Our food truck owners look forward to this event each year,” ECDI Marketing and Communications Manager Kevin Brennan said. “They are ready to bring their culinary ecdifoodfest4excellence to the QFM faithful, whom have been incredibly supportive of this event and our vendors the past few years.”

Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets for the low price of $19.96, making the Sticky Fingers Food Festival one of the most affordable music festivals in Columbus this summer. Keeping the event under $20 was important to the entire Qfm96 family, ensuring that its listeners experience a top-notch festival at a fraction of the typical cost.

“It’s all hands-on-deck for us at Qfm…we will have all of our DJs available to meet fans, while providing coverage of the event onsite throughout the entire day,” Hurley noted. “You could probably sell out EXPRESS LIVE! with Mcguffey Lane alone, but then to add 38 Special into the mix – we know our listeners will walk away thrilled that they attended the Sticky Fingers Food Festival!”ecdifoodfest3
