Local Musicians Benefit Concert for Ohio ACLU
Performers and Artists for Social Equity (PASE) is presenting a benefit chamber concert event at Columbus Mennonite Church in Clintonville on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 7:00 pm. There is a suggested donation of $10, and all proceeds will go directly to the Ohio ACLU. The church is located at 35 Oakland Park Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, 43202, one block north of North Broadway, and just east of High Street.
The program will include a crowd-pleasing array of musical styles, featuring the the Bhakti Mamas, the Clintonville String Quartet, and Dani Harness and Eric Clemens from Brave Weather. The Clintonville String Quartet is made up of local musicians Tom Fetherston, Devin Copfer, Dee Dee Fancher, and Jane Van Voorhis. The Bhakti Mamas are a kirtan/sacred singing group, led by Abby Dorn and Holly Moretti. Brave Weather is a Columbus band, serving up emotional harmonies backed by a versatile band; a fusion of folk, blues, prog rock and a little reggae.
There will be a short presentation about the mission of PASE, and charities the organization plans to benefit on an ongoing basis. A modest reception will follow the program. For more information, call 614-286-6994, email [email protected], or go to www.pase-ohio.org.
