Entertainment Lineup for 2009 Ohio State Fair

What do Kenny Rogers, Kelly Clarkson, and Keith Sweat have in common? They’ve all just been announced for the entertainment lineup for this year’s Ohio State Fair.

The full schedule can be found online at OhioStateFair.com, and also includes Rascal Flatts, Glen Campbell, Little Big Town, Demi Lovato, Eric Benét, and a few others.

    I wonder if the fair will have another record year in attendance and profits this year?

    I’m thinking they might. The experience there can sometimes feel like you’re in a foreign country: strange foods, strange accents… lots of hot, sweaty, crowded people-watching…

    …which makes it feel like a very cheap vacation. ;)

    Why is Kenny Rogers billed first? With all that plastic surgery, I’m not sure that it even is Kenny Rogers. I have a secret (not so secret now) affinity for Kelly Clarkson’s music.

    I’ve not been to the fair since I was 10 or so – think I need to check it out finally! It’s one of those things that goes on so long, that I keep putting off my visit.

    JoeV: Where is Kenny being billed first? I listed three of the more recognizable names, but I wasn’t really doing it in any particular order… and the OSF website has the acts all listed chronologically.

    They had some great weather last year that helped attendance alot. Gas prices were high so people stayed close to home too.

    Looks like they’ve added a few others including Alice Cooper, the Blue Oyster Cult and Relient K to the lineup.

    Alice Cooper AND Blue Oyster Cult, for only $22. That’s a bargain for a pair of dinosaur acts!
