Elm & Iron Opening New Easton Store This Fall

Clintonville home decor shop Elm & Iron is expanding once again. After opening a store in Cincinnati’s popular Over-The-Rhine neighborhood last May, the owners are prepared to grow in Central Ohio, with a new store slated for the Easton Gateway.

“Easton had originally reached out to us about two years ago and I didn’t think the timing was right,” said Elm & Iron Owner Daniel McClurg. “This last year, they reached out again and I decided to take a look.”

McClurg said that the big appeal at Easton was their draw of 22 million visitors per year, and the opportunity to align his business with higher end national brands.

The new Elm & Iron will be located in an 8,000 square foot space at 4170 Easton Gateway Drive. The store will carry more furniture than the Clintonville shop, with a curated selection of home decor and accessories as well.

The Easton location is expected to open sometime this Fall. A second Over-The-Rhine location is also expected to launch later this year, located directly across form their current store.

“I see a lot of opportunity in both of these new locations,” said McClurg “I’m also going to take a trip to Nashville soon to start scouting out possible locations there.”
