Edible Communities will launch their first magazine in Ohio on Thursday, as Edible Columbus makes its debut. The publication will cover stories, recipes, events and other food-related topics as they pertain to our communities.
“Ohio is home to rich agriculture, food artisans and a strong, growing community of food enthusiasts and advocates who believe in supporting their local economy,” said Tricia Wheeler, Edible Columbus Publisher. “Each issue of our magazine enables readers to discover the food treasures being grown and produced in central Ohio along with highlighting the flavors of each season.”
Edible Columbus joins the ranks of 61 other Edible publications franchised across the country. The magazine is published quarterly and subscriptions run $35/year.
A magazine kickoff event is being held this Friday, April 2nd at the Hills Market.
More information can be found online at www.ediblecommunities.com/columbus/.

This will be a great magazine! I met Trish in my Leadership Columbus and whatever she touches turns to gold – an amazing entrepreneur!
Yes. She really seems very likely to have her finger on the pulse of the local food scene.
sounds great! Is this going to be a free publication or subscription?
From the third paragraph up there: “The magazine is published quarterly and subscriptions run $35/year.”
@surber17 – you can pay for a subscription, but it will be free at locations of those who advertise within, from what I understand.
Very excited for this!
!!!
The magazine is free at advertiser locations (including…North Market, Whole Foods Market, Jeni’s Ice Creams, Hills Market, etc.). A list of where you can pick up a free copy will be available at http://www.ediblecolumbus.com.
Hi there!
RSVP’s are needed for the event at Hills Market as space is limited. Please email Tricia@ediblecolumbus.com.
I hope there are lots of recipes with in-season produce for central Ohio. Looking forward to learning more!
This is exciting! Our wedding rehearsal dinner was a cover story for Edible Brooklyn – they always do an interesting job covering the food, with a nod to the hosts. Can’t wait to see what is to come.
