    Call my taste kitsch, but I LOVE Eddie George’s! Their restaurant is one of my favorites in the city! (Granted, it helps that they’re in my back yard…and their happy hour is SO good…)

    I still don’t dig their food, but I’ll give them a thumbs up for treating us so well at that last happy hour and those great 20oz Sam Adams specials. I left that place pretty happy! :)

    And actually, I think I recall the nachos being decent.

    In my research for my happy hour site, I’ve hit up a ton of happy hours in town. Eddie George’s is one of my favorites. The pure variety of specials are impressive. Deals on appetizers and $2 20 oz. (which have been Blue Moon and Boston Lager when I’ve been there) make for a hell of a start to a night. It is the perfect place to stop at before going to a concert at Newport.

    Walker, who is the guy in the video? He didn’t identify himself and I was curious: manager, host, part owner, head bartender?

    Yeah, he forgot to say his name. It’s Mike (his last name is escaping me at the moment) and I believe he’s the GM.

    Guess I should add a little text in the beginning with his name & title. ;)
