“The series has been meeting the expectations of Capital Crossroads and meeting the needs of tour attendees,” says Kacey Brankamp, Business Recruiter at Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District and organizer of the office tour series. “We’ve been pleased that all the attendees are seriously considering leasing space or trying to convince their employer to relocate to Downtown. It’s been educational for attendees who haven’t gone through the leasing process which can be intimidating, as they’ve been able to get basic information and ask questions in a laid-back, casual atmosphere.”

The sixth and final tour features office spaces for lease in 15 North Fourth Street and 35 North Fourth Street ranging from a tiny 120 square feet with shared conferences and kitchen facilities — up to a larger 3,100 square foot first-floor unit with its own separate entrance. These two office buildings featured are conveniently located between Broad Street and Gay Street, with easy central access to all of Downtown.

Brankamp says that feedback from the series has varied greatly from tour to tour and attendee to attendee. She said that many have been surprised at the affordability of some of the unique spaces, and many have also stated that they have little need for parking thanks to the access to biking, walking and busing options Downtown.

“There has been one office lease signed so far, and although the tour was geared towards office users, we had a couple of retailers on the tour and one is close to signing a lease as a result of attending,” says Brankamp. “There continues to be serious interest and leads, as well.”

The final office tour takes place on Wednesday, May 14th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Guests are asked to meet at 5:30pm at 15 North Fourth for food and drinks.
