Back to School is starting! Volunteers of America’s Operation Backpack has been in full swing and is coming to a close this Friday. If you would like to donate a new, fully supplied backpack to their program, the deadline for donating backpacks is this Thursday and Friday, August 12 and 13th. Pick up a backpack and check out the school supply lists here. Then take your finished backpack to the Volunteers of America’s truck – available at 1776 E. Broad Street from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. to accept your donations. You can also donate online if you’d like. Thank you for helping children in need receive a good start to the school year!
