UPDATE: November 9th 5:30am by Walker Evans
After winning the states of Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, Donald Trump has secured over 270 electoral votes to become the next President of the United States.
“Now it is time for America to bind the wounds of division, have to get together, to all Republicans and Democrats and independents across this nation, I say it is time for us to come together as one united people,” stated Trump during his acceptance speech overnight. “Working together we will begin the urgent task of rebuilding our nation and renewing the American dream.”

UPDATE: November 8th 11:30am
It’s a close race tonight. As more states report their victor, and as electoral votes add up, the race is becoming narrower and narrower. Hillary Clinton is leading nationally with 197 electoral votes to Donald Trump’s 187.
Trump has won — or is leading — in most of the swing states. Along with Ohio, Florida and North Carolina have come down in support of Trump. Trump is favored in Wisconsin (by 3 percent), Nevada (by 41 percent) and New Hampshire (by two percent). Virginia and Colorado are all pro-Clinton; Pennsylvania is leaning her way as well; she leads there 49-47 percent.
“To everyone here, just think of that glass ceiling that has been up there,” said Joyce Beatty at the Ohio Democratic Party’s watch party at Hyatt Regency. “And now, for us to be gathered here and to witness that — we’re just going to smash the hell out of that ceiling, because we’re going to elect Hillary Clinton as our next president.”
People are still waiting on 13 more states to report — Trump is leading in seven of them: Arizona, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, New Hampshire, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin. Michigan is still undecided — Clinton and Trump have been trading leads there.
