“We were able to extend the size of the event and had a good run overall at the Bluestone, but there were some issues to maintaining our optimal third Friday schedule that we could not reconcile with the venue,” said Damn Girl DJ and Event Coordinator Charles Erickson. “So, we are moving it to Skully’s, a venue we think will be the most accommodating for both our production and scheduling needs, as well as be the best venue for the overall interests of our audience.”

Damn Girl has been running monthly since 2013, originating at the old Circus bar (now home to Condado) before relocating to 400 West Rich and then to the Bluestone. The party’s music is rooted in “discofunk, interstellar hits and dope dance jams” spun by local DJs Charles Erickson, Nathaniel Geographic and Donnie Mossman.

The event is 21+ only, starts at 10pm and features free admission until 11pm ($5 after 11pm).
