I think this would be great, I really like MoJoe on the cap. The drinks and the food are all pretty good (I think).
Cup O’Joe owner Mark Swanson is looking at expanding his German Village store at 627 S. Third St. into an adjacent building and developing a MoJoe Lounge.
Attorney Jeff Brown, of the law firm Smith & Hale, planned to present the concept at the German Village Commission (GVC) meeting Tuesday evening (after ThisWeek’s press time).
Brown called the planning “very preliminary at this time.
That’s awesome news. I think people have said before that German Village needs something along the lines of Bristol, and I think a MoJoe Lounge could fill that gap pretty well. The only other similar type of lounge environment down in GV was at Barcelona when they still did DJs@11.
If they bring in some DJs to entertain at the new MoJoe Lounge, then i’ve found my new hangout already. It’s literally a 3 minute walk for me. Can’t beat that! :D

Oh, a MoJoe in the Village would KILL.
I’ve always said what they really need down there is Bristol 2, but this would be close enough.
I’ll be even more of a regular if this goes through. Yes, I suppose there is a parking problem, but watching people try to pull out of the current “parking lot” convinces me that its a hazard anyway.
Not to mention entertaining. Good to hear something new happening in GV.
I don’t really understand the parking concerns. I always kind of chuckle at the people valet parking their cars at Lindy’s as I drive by 3 or 4 spots half a block or less away. I actually think Columbus in general is home to some of the most unnecessary valet parking ever. But that is for another topic….
You’re absolutely right honavery, and I also have to say I’d rather park on the street than that death trap of a parking lot for Cup O’ Joes anyways!
