COTA Challenge: Q1 2009 Update

It’s time for a quick COTA Challenge update.
Year to date (first quarter, 2009) I have spent $81.25 for 48.27 gallons of gas for the car (there’s still a quarter-tank left). This includes one round-trip drive to Indianapolis.

Wow – Walker and Anne have 30 bags of cheese in their freezer – Cheese Party in KLD if we have a big power outage again!
Ha! Yeah, we like to stock up. ;)

“When I was weighing the costs, I tried to remember this: Riding COTA supports local jobs. Buying gasoline supports foreign countries.“

Bummer. Columbus is losing a GREAT local transit-enthusiast to Chicago… why? Because we don’t have RAIL TRANSIT. :(
