Great pod cast. I look forward to continue to push Columbus forward when it comes to alternate modes of transportation. Let's face it - alternate modes are only going to increase. Let's continue to make it happen :)

Listened to the podcast- informative and well done.

We are indeed fortunate to have many people and groups/organizations who are dedicated to the cause and support of cycling- and thereby the better living in Columbus. We are doubly blessed with an awesome Mayor and lots and lots of city employees who work tirelessly and often thanklessly toward that goal as well.

I echo the sentiment of thanks to all involved.

There are many people making safe, easy biking a way of life in Cbus. When Cbus received the bronze Bicycle Friendly Community designation from the League of American Bicyclists this May, our application included the list of bicycle organizations and programs that encourage and educate bicyclists. There are too many to name in this comment, but all of them are doing much more than sitting around and talking. Our application stated the primary reason for our city to deserve to be designated as a Bicycle Friendly Community: "Columbus has a vibrant bicycle community that for many years has been active in promoting bicycling in central Ohio. We have the good fortune to have in our midst tireless volunteers who spend countless hours organizing bicycling activities for the benefit of their cycling brethren." The LAB stated in our award letter that "Dedicated advocates are a huge part of the successes in Columbus." I also personally want to thank our Mayor and our city employees for their continuing progress in making our city more bike friendly and safe through Engineering, Encouragement, Education and Enforcement.

Jeff Stephens is an ultimate team player. He walks the walk before sitting around and doing nothing but talk. I've seen him reach out to so many groups to build up events, to get policy changed and really impact public opinion. We need many more like him to truly make safe, easy biking a way of life in Cbus!

No problem! Glad you enjoyed it! Quite timely too for Jeff to discuss the Share the Road campaign as the signs are going up right now! Spotted a few of them today.

Heh. Yeah, the podcast took place at Urban Spirit, so we didn't have much control over the background music. ;)
