COTA Union to Revote on Agreement Today

By: Walker

The 4th of July marks the third day of a strike by The Transport Workers Union Local 208, which began on Monday and continued yesterday during Red White & Boom. Today could end up being the final day of the strike, as the union prepares to revote on the agreement today, according to COTA on Facebook:

We are hearing reports that the Union will meet tomorrow to revote on the tentative agreement. We’re hopeful & encouraged.

The first vote on the agreement took place yesterday and was voted down 270 to 238. If the vote is passed today, union workers could return to work tomorrow.

We’ll continue to update this story with more information throughout the day.
