    COTA Launches New Website

The Central Ohio Transit Authority quietly launched their new website this weekend, rolling out a new responsive site designed to help riders more easily access travel information. The new site features a trip planning tool front and center on the homepage that allows riders to plug in their location and a destination and map the easiest and most direct route to get to where they need to go. The map data is powered by Google, and will immediately be familiar to anyone who has already been utilizing the Google Transit app for the same purpose.

“The launch has gone well, and we’ve received great feedback,” said Lisa Myers, Public and Media Relations Manager at COTA. “We’re troubleshooting as any issues arise, so if you experience any problems, please contact us.”

The new COTA website will also allow riders to save specific lines to a “favorites” category for easy access, view bus schedules, and check out the latest rider alerts, informing riders of construction detours and weather emergencies.
