COTA adds Hilliard-to-OSU Express Route and More

By: Walker

COTA has just announced their seasonal route updates that will take effect on May 4th. One of the biggest changes is the addition of the #66 express bus that runs between Hilliard and OSU four times per day during the morning and evening commutes. Additional route changes and upgrades affect lines 1, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 15, as well as many of the suburban express routes.

  • WOW! When I was living in H and commuting to OSU I dreamed they would do this. I vaguely remember I even wrote them a letter at one point because there were a bunch of OSU students living in the same apartments.

  • It’s nice to see so many problem areas being addressed… but I’m still looking for the #2 to run at least till 2 or 3 am if not 24/7.   People should have a public transit option at the end of a long night – for everyone’s safety.

Extended Sunday hours would also be ideal.

Keep up the good work cota!

  • +1 for later hours of service!

It would help so many working in hotel, lodging and hospitality get to and from jobs. We turn away so many qualified applicants because they have no way to get home when they get off work after 10 or 11pm.

  • Although a bit out of my way, their new #11 alignment will give me another option for multi-modal commuting from my parents, other than the twice in the morning, twice in the evening express.
