    Construction Update: Jeffrey Park

Once completed, Jeffrey Park will add over 1,300 new residential units to the Italian Village neighborhood, filling in a large 41-acre site just north of Downtown Columbus. The project, led by Wagenbrenner Development, has gotten off to a good start since ground first broke in 2013, completing the northern-most third of the project with hundreds of new apartment units and a couple of for-sale condos as well.

Currently, work continues on for-sale units along Neruda Avenue, as well as phase one of a 25-unit condo building along Auden Avenue by local developer Mulberry. The Jeffrey Park Community Center will also soon be home to the new Hoof Hearted Brewpub, which is scheduled to open in mid-February.

The next phase of Jeffrey Park will include a five-story apartment building on the east side of the site, which is expected to begin construction early this year. More residential development will continue to expand southward on the site, surrounding a new two-acre public park in the center.
