Downtown Columbus is abuzz with new construction, which means a lot of noise and dust in the short term, but new offices, residences, and hotel space in the long term. In fact, back in July we reported that there’s over $500 million worth of construction currently going on Downtown, with even more underway at this point in November.
Back in the 1880s, the Plain City community wanted a village public square. Little did they know that more than 140 years later, a future generation would have the same idea.
Walker Evans is the co-founder of Columbus Underground, along with his wife and business partner Anne Evans. Walker has turned local media into a full time career over the past decade and serves on multiple boards and committees throughout the community.
