Construction Roundup: Legacy Pointe at Poindexter

A lot has changed this year at the Legacy Pointe at Poindexter since we last did an in-depth construction photo roundup feature back in May. Work has continued on the new 449-unit mixed-use community on the city’s Near East Side, which was constructed to replace an affordable housing community known as Poindexter Village.

New construction includes a mix of multi-family buildings, townhomes and single family homes. In the center of the site is Poindexter Place, a 104-unit senior housing building, and the site also sits adjacent to the existing Beatty Recreation Center. Future plans call for the construction of more green space as well.

You can find more information on the one-bedroomtwo-bedroom and three-bedroom units current available for rent at our Urban Living website.
