    Construction Roundup: July 2014

    This month is a very special edition of Construction Roundup. Because not only can you browse our photos for a virtual update on development projects in Columbus, but you can also join us next Sunday for an update on many of the nearly-completed or recently completed projects that are ready for touring!     You can purchase your tickets to the tour in advance online via eventbrite for $15, or day-of at Cup O Joe in the Short North for $20.     Below are descriptions of the various projects photographed this month with links to more information:

    • The Joseph – An 11-story hotel and six-story office building located in the Short North.
    • The Fireproof – A five-story 47-unit mixed-use apartment building at High & 2nd in the Short North.
    • The Julian – A residential redevelopment of a former warehouse at Front & Main, Downtown.
    • Battery B – A 56-unit apartment development at 6th and 2nd in Italian Village.
    • Jeffrey Park – The first apartment building in a larger 41-acre 1,350-unit residential project.
    • 250 High – An 11-story mixed-use apartment/office/retail tower at High & Rich, Downtown.
    • 109 North Front – A City of Columbus office building is being demolished and replaced.
    • The View on Fifth – A six-story 285-unit mixed-use development at Fifth & Holly in 5xNW.
    • Grandview Yard Apartments – An additional set of 120 apartment units in three four-story buildings.
    • Grandview Yard Retail – A 92,000 square foot Giant Eagle on Third Avenue with surrounding retail.
    • OSU North Campus Redevelopment – An $400 million project that includes 11 new buildings.
    • The View on High – A five-story 64-unit mixed-use development at High & 18th near OSU.
    • Grant Commons – A block of 24 rowhouse buildings being rehabbed by Wagenbrenner.
    • Weinland Park Infill – Wagenbrenner is working on redeveloping the former Coated Fabrics site
