Borror Properties continued its recent run of success with the Short North review commissions, receiving final approval last night from the Italian Village Commission for their six-unit condo project at the corner of East First Avenue and Summit Street.

The development, which was conditionally approved in May, will be called “Truberry on Summit” and will feature two-car garages under each two-bedroom condo. Renderings presented at the commission meeting show a brick-clad building with garage access in the rear of the building; cars will enter from Summit Street.

Jeff Baur, Executive Vice President of Borror Properties, said that they are currently working through the permit process with the goal of starting construction in September.

Borror Properties received conditional approval at July’s Victorian Village Commission meeting for a 69-unit project on Dennison Avenue. At that same meeting, they also received the go-ahead on their 16-unit  42 West Third Avenue development.
