There’s a great article that was posted on CMHGourmand on Monday that provides look at the food offerings of Comfest. While food is often a pretty large draw for many of our local summer festivals, one thing that really sticks out about the Comfest lineup is the fact that everything is overwhelmingly local, and few traditional “fair food” items are to be found. Did anyone manage to find a new favorite food vendor at Comfest this year?

The Wellness Forum…New to my stomach and I. Both Approved.
I tried Benevolence for the first time at Comfest. The Hummus wrap was delicious.
Also got a vanilla cream puff from Schmidt’s. That’s always a winner.
No. Not working downtown this last year, I went to Rad Dog which I have been missing. Maybe next year.
Before I lived in Columbus, I visited Comfest two years ago and ate Jeni’s ice cream for the first time. Hence the move to Columbus, ha ha.
Global Gallery showed up this year with iced Fair Trade Coffee…nice…
I had the gourmet pizza from the broccoli burger booth. It was on a tortilla shell and quite a tasty treat. Anyone happen to know the business name of this booth/restaurant?

I went back for seconds of the fried cheese ravioli at a vendor by the Park Street jazz stage. Unfortunately I don’t recall their name. really, really good stuff, tho. if anyone knows whom I’m speaking of let me know.
