Yes, the Central Ohio Restaurant Association was first to bring Restaurant Week to Columbus about a decade ago. The Central Ohio Restaurant Association is delighted that our friends DOC are reviving the event! I can’t wait!

I believe CORA actually did the first “Restaurant Week” events around 1998-2001. But I agree that a better group of local restaurants couldn’t have been picked to take the lead on getting this event going again in Columbus!

I have enjoyed so many great meals during NYC restaurant week. I am glad DineOriginals will bring us the same opportunity here in Columbus. Hopefully the downtown crowd will make the trip to taste Chef Tom’s cooking at The Worthington Inn – I think it is top three in the city.

This is great! I used to love the 2 restaurant weeks a year when I lived in DC. I’m sure we’ll all enjoy it, and let’s all approach any restaurants that aren’t on the list to participate next year!
