Kick off the countdown to Earth Day with Green Drinks at the OSU Urban Arts Space tonight. What the Rock?! welcomes kindie band Rolie Polie Guacamole at 4pm. The Southern Theatre comes alive with jazz and A Night at the Cotton Club through Sunday. The Columbus International Auto Show starts tonight and goes through Sunday. This month’s Comedy Under the Influence is tonight at the Treebar.

    Short North Stage opens their latest production, The Irish Curse Friday night. There will be talk backs with the director and author after the show. Park Street’s St. Patrick’s Day Weekend kicks off on Friday and goes through Saturday. The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament second and third rounds are here on Friday. Smoke & Mirrors continues at ShadowboxLive. Happy 9/11! and Other Completely Non-Offensive Tales continues at MadLab on Friday and Saturday. It’s the final weekend to see New Players Theatre’s God of Carnage. Have you tried Jeni’s new Super Pop Cakes collection? Anime Punch: The Revolution is Friday through Sunday.

    Kick off your St. Patrick’s Day Festivities with the Parade Downtown. Sign up with Year of Yay for their ride and get a button and a 200Columbus bicycle bell! Lexi’s on Third will be open on Saturday with a corned beef and cabbage with a Guinness $10 special. Urban Arts Space has another Art Explorations for kids on Saturday afternoon. The South Campus Gateway will be alive with St. Patrick’s Day specials. See Leprechaun at the Gateway Film Center and win prizes and eat green popcorn. There’s some St. Patrick’s Day food specials listed here. The Midnight Shift is back at the Grandview Theatre with Leprechaun 4:In Space. Do some LepreCONing in the Arena District on Saturday. Granville has a Pub Crawl. Three Creeks Park is having a tram ride. St. James Tavern will be hosting a kick-ass event – St. Paddy’s Day Fusion – on Saturday. Ace of Cups is hosting The Greening of The Bush League All-Stars. Skully’s is the place for the St. Patrick’s Day Edition of LeBoom 2.3. ProMusica presents Irish Melodies.

    There’s a food truck event happening in New Albany. CityMusic presents music by Quartetto Gelato at Via Vecchia Winery on Sunday. More NCAA Men’s Basketball action is happening on Sunday. See Controversy 2 at The Ohio Historical Society. End your weekend on a note of generosity with a donation to Available Light Theatre, who is trying to match a $3,000 potential donation. Blooms and Butterflies are back at the Franklin Park Conservatory.
