The Columbus Marathon is also on Sunday, some Dine Originals Restaurants have special deals going, check them out! Also, Artisan Sundays is going on at the North Market. Have a great weekend!

  • Don’t forget the Tour de Highland West which is a bike tour of the neighborhood (the residential area north of Broad near Holton Park looks particularly nice with the fall colors) ending with a potluck. Starts at 2PM on Sunday, Oct. 17th and is a great compliment to the Fton Tour of Homes to get better acquainted with both
west side neighborhoods.  Here’s a map of the route.

I have read, and re-read the post here, and can’t believe you left out one of the biggest events to come to Columbus every year… The COLUMBUS MARATHON.  Now maybe you mentioned it in another post I didn’t see. But this is a BIG day for a lot of people, both runners/walkers/hand cyclists, as well as the family and friends of those folks.  It’s a GREAT thing to watch as the runners cross the finish line if you’ve never been.  Very inspirational.  5000 people come to Columbus to do the FULL marathon, and an additional 10,000 do the half marathon. 15,000 people running the streets of Columbus on a very scenic route.  It’s really a great thing for Columbus.
