There will be a tent dinner for Opening Night. It’s opening weekend for Columbus Commons! Tonight, they have a free concert with Michael McDonald. Huntington Park has Big Ten Baseball. You have until Saturday to see MadLab’s Theatre Roulette.
Friday
Head to the Alive! Summer Music Tour at Columbus Commons. Or check out Midwest Revival at A&R Music Bar. Try the new Sugardaddy’s Flavors at their Downtown location on Friday. Sacred Vessels is opening at Gallery 831. Fritz the Nite Owl is back at Studio 35 on Friday and Saturday nights. GAMMA Laser Party is at the Bluestone. Columbus Commons has Family Fun Day that starts at noon and finishes at 11pm with Fireworks! The fountains are running at Bicentennial Park. If you’re looking to get rid of stuff, take it over to Treasure Swap at Junctionview Studios. The Columbus Crew takes on the Chicago Fire Saturday night. Stick around for the postgame concert with Flogging Molly. The first Grandview Hop of the season happens Saturday evening. The Asian Festival returns on Saturday in Franklin Park. The Hills Market has their Annual Salmon Roast on Saturday. King-Lincoln District has a Memorial Day Parade at noon. Ace of Cups as Old 3C Fest going on Saturday.
Sunday
ShadowboxLive presents their free concert Back to the Garden at Columbus Commons. Head back to Treasure Swap to find some cool stuff! The Asian Festival continues Sunday in Franklin Park. Go to Utica for their Ice Cream Festival. Studio 35 has Monty Python with a Beer Tasting on Sunday. Hal & Al’s has their Food Truck and Cart Hop. Partake in the Olde Columbus Bicycle Booze Cruise.
Monday
Happy Memorial Day and thank you to all who have served. The Memorial Tournament begins Monday. The Green Lawn Abbey has their annual Open House. Check out the Dragon Boat Races on Monday on the Scioto River in Genoa Park. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite Food Trucks and Food Carts!
