Tonight you can get your outdoor live music fix at the Heritage Concert Series, or with The Andy Shaw Band & Lydia Loveless at Downtown Live. ProMusica has a free outdoor concert at the Franklin Park Conservatory. The Actors’ Theatre opens The Servant of Two Masters in Schiller Park, shows are through Sunday. Tonight there is a Public Meeting about the parking meters on High Street. See Toy Story 3 at Fryer Flicks on the Hill. Get your political memorabilia checked out tonight through Saturday.

Friday

The Dublin Irish Festival kicks off their 25th year and goes through Sunday. Go find all ten of the mini-murals now adorning The Short North. CATCO’s presentation of Avenue Q kicked off last night. Rhythm on the River presents Transit Arts Artists On The Move. Shots in the Dark Independent Theatre is performing “Lunch Lady: Tater Tots of Love” Friday through Sunday. Cinema Classics kicks off at the Gateway Film Center with Dr. Strangelove. The Drexel Summer Kids Festival continues Friday and Saturday with Make Believe. The Young Writers Short Play Festival continues Friday and Saturday at MadLab Theatre. Canal Winchester’s Blues and Ribs Fest is Friday and Saturday. Dive in Movies at Zoombezi Bay is playing Zookeeper. Upper Arlington’s Movies in the Park is playing The Swiss Family Robinson. The Short North Stage has cabaret Friday night.

Lobster Days at The Hills Market are back!

It’s National Mead Day! Enjoy special events at Brothers’ Drake. The Columbus Jazz Orchestra has a free concert at Columbus Commons on Saturday. Make sure to see Ginnie Baer’s Farewell Show at the Sean Christopher Gallery. Enjoy Gallery Hop! Short North Stage has belly dancers.
