Or go just a little farther.

Is there an admission for pride this year? Thought I read something about a possibility of it here.

I believe they are asking for a $5 donation at the door; proceeds go to Stonewall Columbus for future Pride events.

Does the $10 mean they won’t gouge on beer? Thinking of heading down for the parade and hanging for a bit, but I can’t justify paying $10 each for the two of us for the right to buy 2 $8 beers.
    $10 admission and $4 beers – cool
no admission and $6 beers – OK
$10 admission and $6/8 beers – too rich for my blood.

Was a little surprised when at Comfest last year they wouldn’t let me use my No Planet/No Party mug from 2007, even after I said that I was recycling and that’s what the cup suggested. Not sure if that was a rule or just some pain in the ass beer lady.

Ugh. The amount of Kelly Clarkson and Cher remixes I will have to endure if I venture near High. I’ll pass, thanks.

Yes, come to Geekfest! I’ve written a couple sketches and will be performing in Sketch By Number 3.0 – we’re a group of OSU theatre students and recent grads who have been putting on this sketch comedy show for a couple years now, and 3.0 is our special “geek” edition. There’s a preview tonight at 10:30 p.m., pay-what-you-can, and a performance tomorrow night at 8 p.m. for $5. It’s a fun, audience interactive night, and the closing number will not disappoint! :)
