This weekend will be dominated by two major festivals – The Ohio State Fair, which kicked off on Wednesday and runs through next Saturday – and the Dublin Irish Festival, which kicks off today and runs through Sunday.
Saturday also marks the first day of August, which means a Gallery Hop weekend in the Short North. Wild Goose Collective will be hosting BaconCamp on Saturday afternoon. The Coen Brothers comedy Raising Arizona will be playing outside in Goodale Park for free tonight. This is also a great weekend for nightlife, as The Crystal Method will be performing a live set at BoMA tonight, and Bristol Bar is holding their reopening party after completing some new renovations.

There is also a professional golf (Nationwide Tour) tournament at Ohio State’s Scarlet course this weekend that is cheap entertainment for anyone interested.

The Dublin Irish Festival was a blast Friday. Great food, fun people, tasty stout, and killer music.
