By: Walker

A great Columbus travel article appeared in yesterday’s edition of The Buffalo News, based in Buffalo, New York. The local attractions highlighted for visitors includes the Ohio State University campus, The Wexner Center, Pattycake Bakery, Wholly Craft, The Blue Danube, Northstar Cafe, the Franklin Park Conservatory, the Thurber House, the North Market, Basi Italia, Katzinger’s, Pistacia Vera and more.

The full article can be found here: (“Discovering COLUMBUS“).

  • What a positive article, and I loved this quote, “A gentle tip-off to what’s cool and happening and possible in the world, without being superior or bossy about it.”

  • The writer noticed our expanding fleet of pedicabs!

  • Very lovely article, it seemed to sum up the city pretty nicely.

  • Very nicely written! I love the fact that the writer mentioned Pattycake Bakery, Basi, Alana’s, Wholly Craft, and a host of other places that often don’t get mentioned.

  • That’s one of the best articles on Columbus I’ve seen in a long time!

Now I challenge someone (from in or out of town) to write about Columbus without using the word “Discover” in the title. Has it ever been done? ;-)

  • Yeah, I agree with everyone. What a well written, flattering article of Columbus.

  • what an awesome very positive article! i love that he referred to wholly craft as our cousin, cute:)

  • It kinda makes me want to visit Buffalo and write a nice article back at them. ;)
