I listened to it last night. Very interesting to hear about some of the issues you guys have faced in getting the place revamped and opened. Looking forward to the debut! :D
I swear the back room of Surly Girl with the heavy curtains on the wall was the best recording space we’ve ever used.
I was hoping to get Liz on tape verbally abusing some of her employees, but she’s just too damn nice.
Yeah, we did our Rollergirls podcast back there. Great spot! :D
Loved the music in this! Thanks for putting the effort in to have a jukebox full of local musicians. It’ll be a great way for those of us that are getting too old to see them in person to catch up on some local sounds :) I’m also really looking forward to trying the kimchee topped dog. Best wishes…
Hope some Gil Mantera made the cut!
Hooray local jams and Dirty Franks Downtown!
GREAT picture of Liz and Harold btw…..too stinkin’ cute.
Can’t wait!
Whats this I hear? A Meat Martini in the works???
Return of the classic! haha
Beware, consumption of Meatini may cause sudden hair growth.
Pacing like a tiger in a cage for some Dirty Franks! Can’t wait. When is the opening date?
No firm opening date…. yet. Based the Foodcast interview and peeking in the window last week Dirty Franks 1.0 should be good to go before Memorial Day. Since Liz and 99% of the DF Fan club checks CU – you can expect definitive DF opening day information here. I am looking forward to DF 2.0 as well – they will expand the menu and add some cool extras after they are open for a few months. Viva La Hot Dog!
very cool interview! i just ate there tonight and tried the delicious sriracha slaw dog
