Clothe Ohio Opening Store in The Short North

A locally-based clothing retailer is ready to make the jump from online-only sales to the world of brick-and-mortar business. Clothe Ohio has announced its first storefront will open atĀ 867 North High Street, in a space formerly home to Reverse Vanity Spa.

The concept was first launched in February 2015 by brothersĀ Dustin and Elliott Fisher from Cincinnati, and established as a social enterprise where a t-shirt or sweatshirt is donated to an Ohio in need every time one is purchased from the store.

“Dustin and Elliott first thought of the brand and concept years ago, but weren’t able to put the right team in place to make it a reality until recently,” explained Robert Cole, who now works for the company. “Since our launch, weā€™ve partnered with several local charities and have really grown an unbelievable fan base.Ā People from all over the state, country, and world, have shopped with us and supported the movement to give back.”

Cole chalks the company’s success thus far to the community that they’ve managed to build, both offline and online. Nearly 110,000 people follow the company on Facebook and Instagram since their launch less than two years ago.

When it came time to pick a location for the business, Cole said that the Short North made the most sense.

“Both brothers live in and around the Short North and they see the daily impact it makes on the community,” he explained. “It’s the cultural hub of the city.”

Clothe Ohio is expected to launch sometime in late November or Early December.
