Yesterday evening, the presidential candidate leader flipped in Ohio once again, according to the latest polling data aggregated by the analysts at FiveThirtyEight.com. Clinton regained a marginal 0.1 percent lead over Trump in the current projected vote share, now giving her a 50.5 percent chance of winning the state in next month’s election.
While the race for Ohio is now essentially a tie, it represents a large shift from just a week ago when Trump had a two percentage point lead and a 62 percent chance of winning the state. Most political analysts have attributed the rapid shift over the past week to multiple missteps that have hurt the Trump campaign in the polls.
Overall, FiveThirtyEight currently projects Clinton with a 74.7 percent chance of winning the presidential election.
