A nice steady 75 degree evening means that a night out at Gallery Hop promises to be a lot of fun this evening. As always, there’s plenty of art exhibitions, store sales, bar hopping, people watching and other fun things to do. Below is our monthly list of things that you need to check out tonight while Gallery Hopping:
1. Shopping – Julia’s Story

Julia’s Story is the latest store-within-a-store concept to open in The Short North. The shop features children’s books and related items and accessories. The microshop carries over 300 titles as well as locally made children’s clothing, baby bibs and pillows. More info on the new store can be found HERE.
2. Art – 83 Gallery

83 Gallery will be unveiling an art installation by Digilog Futures, A Brooklyn and Pratt-based architecture/design/art group, led by Ohio State grad, Tyler O’Rielley, that is made up of discarded industrial and packaging objects and a mile of upgraded rope. More info on their show can be found HERE.
3. Shopping – Flora Home & Garden

4. Food – Mikey’s Quick Slice

If you’re craving Mikey’s pizza by the slice, but don’t want to stay out late to get it, then you’re in for a treat! Mikey’s Quick Slice is the daytime alter ego of Late Night Slice, and just opened up on Wednesday for all of your pizza wants and needs. More details can be found HERE.
5. Entertainment – Cinco De Mayo!

Cinco de Mayo falls on a Saturday this year, doubling the craziness of this year’s cinco festivities. There will be quite a few parties all over town, but if you’re looking for something Short North centric, then you might want to consider stopping by La Fogata or Park Street Cantina. What else are you looking forward to at Gallery Hop tonight?
