You read that right. The pop-up shop known as Christmisc is returning to the South Campus Gateway once again for all of your ugly sweater and Christmas accessory needs. The shop debuted last year as a spin-off concept from men’s clothing store Pursuit, and has proven so successful that it’s grown into a larger space this year.

“Our goal is to be a joyful, quirky, and nostalgic holiday experience,” says Christmisc and Pursuit owner Nate DeMars. “With this year’s store popping up in a former gallery, we decided to put our expertly curated collection on display in a first-of-it’s-kind Christmas sweater exhibit we’re calling Ugly: Eye of the Beholder. Visitors can even participate in the art by getting decked out and hopping into our photo booth.”

Ugly sweater prices range from $8 to $48 and includes vests, turtlenecks, sweatshirts and fleece variants on the theme.

The shop, located at 1556 North High Street (in the Gateway “alley” below the Gateway Film Center) will be open from 10:00am to 8:00pm Monday through Thursday, 10:00am to 9:00pm Friday and Saturday, and 12:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday, today through December 23rd.

“Plus, we will be hitting the road with our unique mobile store, The Sweater Sleigh, in the coming weeks,” added DeMars.
