Fall is practically upon us, which means there’s a whole lot of horror headed to a theater near you. There’s also some interesting new TV series arriving this fall, and a handful of possibly Oscar-worthy films and biopics on the horizon. No matter what your taste is for entertainment, there’s something to look forward to in this latest round of trailers:
Morgan
The anticipated sci-fi thriller/horror film Morgan gets a new trailer ahead of its September 2nd release date. Come see what the future has in store for us when we decide to create new human life from scratch!
Rings
Everything is getting rebooted or sequelized, so it only makes sense that Rings is coming this fall as the third in the American series that was a remake of the Japanese original. Instead of a VHS tape that kills people though, it’s an online video, because of course it is.

Blair Witch
Speaking of which (or witch?) the Blair Witch Project reboot/sequel has an extended trailer for those anticipating its arrival. It hits theaters on September 16th.
Incarnate
New exorcism-based horror film Incarnate infuses a bit of Inception into the mix as Aaron Eckhart dives inside the minds of those possessed to help release the demons. Arrives in theaters on December 2nd.

A United Kingdom
David Oyelowo returns for yet another biopic in “A United Kingdom”, a new film based on the true story about Serestse Khama, the first president of Botswana. Also starring Rosamund Pike. Arrives in theaters on October 5th.
Son of Zorn
Like a modern day Roger Rabbit, FOX is bringing the He-Man style cartoon character of Zorn to life in real world settings with real world actors including Cheryl Hines and permanently prepubescent Johnny Pemberton. Jason Sudeikis stars in the voice acting role. The show starts airing on September 25th.

Guardians
The Russians are getting in on the superhero action genre with Guardians, an X-Men style adventure with some pretty impressive special efforts for a non-Hollywood film. The release date shown is February 23rd, but we’re not 100 percent sure if that includes a U.S. theatrical release just yet.
One Mississippi
Comedian Tig Notaro has a new Amazon dark comedy coming to Prime on September 9th. The show is based on the comedian’s real life dealings with life and death, and produced by Louis CK.
Mr. Church
Eddie Murphy returns to the big screen for the first time in four years in what looks likes his most subdued and serious role, perhaps ever. Word on the street is that he’s baiting for an Oscar, but we’ll have to wait and see how that pans out. Arrives in theaters on September 16.

Narcos: Season 2
The Netflix story of Pablo Escobar returns for second season on September 2nd. The story ramps up with multiple factions gunning to take Pablo out, so expect the intensity to rise above and beyond season one.
