As gas prices float near $4 a gallon, scooter sales have taken off.

Sales of motor scooters jumped 24 percent in the first quarter of 2008 compared with the same time period in 2007, according to the Motorcycle Industry Council. A spokesman for the Motorcycle Industry Council declined to give the actual figure, but for all of 2007, the Motorcycle Industry Council says an estimated 131,000 new scooters were sold nationwide.

The popularity of scooters in larger metropolitan areas such as Cincinnati and Columbus may account for Ohio ranking 12th in the nation in scooter sales last year, according to the council.

you cant be just a regular asshole to become a meter maid. you have to be a dyed in the wool prick. i think kicking a puppy is a requirement to get that job.

To find parking between Downtown to North High St to OSU area are very strict and I will never understand why!!
