Best New Restaurant of 2012: TILL Dynamic Fare

It’s always tough to pick just one new restaurant as the best of the year, but collectively our readers have proved themselves with a fairly solid track record over the past five years by singling out some of the best places to dine.

This year, the honor of Best New Restaurant goes to TILL Dynamic Fare. Located at 247 King Avenue, TILL was reborn in January from the popular Dragonfly Neo-V, which was owned and operated by the same duo of Magdiale Wolmark and Cristin Austin. The new restaurant has a focus on biodynamic methods and preparations, as well as seasonal ingredients from their urban kitchen garden located behind the building.

“TILL isn’t like Dragonfly at all, it’s an entirely new vision,” said Wolmark during an interview in February. “I feel the innovation exists in TILL’s simplicity. Super high sourcing standards, resourceful and artisanal production methods, classic and sometimes re-invented classic preparations.”
