Best Local Bands in Columbus of 2015

The Columbus music scene is ever changing, evolving and growing — and that’s reflected in the results of our annual “Best of Columbus” survey, which highlights different musical talent each year with its rankings. In 2015, our readers picked Angela Perley and the Howlin’ Moons as their favorite Columbus band of the year, giving the rock band the local spotlight. Perley was featured earlier this year on CU in an interview during the launch of the new Art Makes Columbus marketing campaign, and she had some very positive things to say about her fellow musicians:

“I’m not sure what it’s like in other cities, but in Columbus there’s a strong community where creative people bounce ideas off each other and people are really supportive of each other,” she said. “It definitely seems like a special place. I don’t know if every city has that kind of network.”
